Abstract

Dr. Mark Edward performing in Jeremy Goldstein's 'Truth To Power Cafe' which started as a prelude to Penny Arcade's performances of 'Longing Lasts Longer' at Soho Theatre in 2015. Mark discusses (in your face and emotional) topics such as his dead dad, fat and the dance gaze, pain and pleasure, homophobic policing of his everyday clothes, having man boobs/tits and dying prematurely through drugs. This stand-up forms part of Mark's new solo (mesearch) performance project: 'That's Dr Faggot To You!'
