I joined Edge Hill University in September 2016 from the University of Strathclyde, where I had worked since 2010. I have also held positions at the Open University, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Leeds from where I obtained my PhD in 2007. By training and by inclination I am happiest when working on women's writing of the long eighteenth century (c. 1660-1830). I am currently the editor of the Letters of Hannah More: a Digital Edition which aims to publish, online and freely available, the first scholarly edition of More's 1,800 surviving letters.
